As a contracted consultant or member of an accreditation site visit team Dr. Dean has assisted or served as an evaluator at 36 institutions in 21 states. The majority of the consultancies were to provide analysis and advice regarding beginning a college or school of pharmacy at existing educational institutions, several of which were faith-based. He also has conducted management audits, advised clients in organizational structure and participated in development of new program proposals to statewide higher education coordinating boards and regional accreditors.		The Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) site visit evaluations were primarily to private institutions and included assessments at precandidate, candidate and continuing accreditation stages (some institutions were visited at multiple stages of the accreditation process).
